Yes! The app is fully usable offline. All data is stored locally and synchronized with the server when an internet connection is available. This allows you to use the app even in remote areas without mobile reception.

The app automatically shows you the 20 nearest Lost Places. On the interactive map, you can see all available locations. You can also view all Lost Places without sharing your location.

Ghost markers show potential Lost Places that haven't been fully documented yet. These locations have been suggested by the community but haven't been fully verified or provided with information.

Yes, you can share GPS coordinates directly with navigation apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps. This way you can easily find your way to the Lost Places.

Yes! After registration, you can add your own Lost Places to the app. These are shared with the community and enrich the offering for all users.

As a registered user, you can upload your own photos to any Lost Place. In the details view, you can upload your images via the plus button on the Photo tab.

The Activity Feed shows you the latest community activities: new places, uploaded photos, and comments. This keeps you up to date on new discoveries.

Yes, there is a reporting function for inappropriate content (places, photos, comments). Reported content is reviewed promptly and removed if necessary.

The Pro version offers advanced features like Dark Mode, different map types, search functions, favorites lists, distance measurements, compass function, and the ability to mark your vehicle parking position.

With the Pro version, you can mark your vehicle parking position and find it again later. Particularly useful for Lost Places tours in unfamiliar areas.

In the Pro version, you can set a home location. The app then automatically calculates the distances to all Lost Places from this point.
